Here's my latest Youtube video showing how to make a bow out of ribbon. You'll see how easy it is to use a piece of grosgrain ribbon and make a beautiful hair bow. Feel free to try this out with a variety of ribbon widths because you can even use a thin 3/8 inch one to make this same style bow much smaller that would be perfect for younger girls. In the video I'm using a 1.5 inch wide grosgrain ribbon that makes a nice sized bow to place on the top of a ponytail for an older girl.
Need supplies for your bow making? I like to shop locally (with a coupon!) at Hobby Lobby or Michael's for great selections of grosgrain, satin, and all kinds of patterns on my ribbon. Don't forget to check the clearance aisle and dollar bins for great steals too! Oh and you can also purchase hair accessory supplies online for wholesale prices if you are going to be creating in bulk quantities.
